	ARTIST STATEMENT
	

My work is rooted in the exploration of the relationship between life and artistic experience.
Through installations, sculpture, and drawing, I engage with seemingly common structures, systems and objects, subverting them—whether through humor, aesthetics, or function—to shift perceptions and, ultimately, expand our understanding of life itself.
This approach shape how I live, create, and interact with the world around me.

MINI BIO

Luca Parise is a Brazilian artist, born in Paris and raised in São Paulo, now based in Berlin. His work spans multiple media, focusing primarily on sculpture and installation while also engaging with architecture through AVENTURA, a multidisciplinary collaborative group. 

Selected solo exhibitions include "Barganha" at Galeria Zielinsky, Barcelona; the Insider exhibithion in Fita Tape and a solo booth at SP-Arte with Galeria Aura, both in São Paulo. Parise’s work has also been featured in group exhibitions across São Paulo, including at the Art Museum of Ribeirão Preto and the Contemporary Art Salon of Piracicaba, as well as in Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, and Seoul. In 2022 he was awarded the "Arte como Respiro" prize from Itaú Cultural and it's present in private and public collections as the FAMA Museu (São Paulo) 

Luca’s diverse background spans actuarial science (with a degree from FEA – University of São Paulo), consulting, and venture building. His experience in founding art-related initiatives such as Nail on Wall, Clube de Colecionadores, OPCAC, and AVENTURA showcases his experimental approach to both life and art.

	SOBRE
	Cozinha Lagosta inaugurou uma série de trabalhos, ou melhor, uma forma de produzir que norteou todos os projetos subsequentes:&#38;nbsp;
Por um lado, foi a cozinha que usei normalmente em minha casa, por quase 4 anos: uma construção utilitária e funcional. Por outro, seria difícil de caracteriza tal objeto como um bjeto puramente funcional.
Para funciona, a cozinha consta com um sistema de entrada de energia (110v) e água (mangeuria laranja) e um sistema de saída de esgoto (mangueira chata azul). O sistema de gás, um botijão, fica embarcado na estrutura e alimenta o fogão.

“Máquinas de desenho, ou seja, mecanismos que auxiliam o ato de desenhar ou até desenham automaticamente, são inventados com regularidade a mais de 500 anos. Nas últimas décadas, diversos artistas contemporâneos criaram obras-máquinas de desenho, deslocando a aura da criação artística do fazer manual, para o planejamento mecânico, questionando conceitos de autoria etc. Luca Parise não pensou em nada disso antes de fazer sua máquina de desenho, que pouco se assemelha ao que costumamos associar a uma máquina, nem produz exatamente o que se convencionou chamar de desenho. Trata-se de uma estranha e fascinante mistura de mapoteca, ecossistema automatizado e moscário, que produz obras de arte e pode ser operada por qualquer pessoa que tenha em mãos o seu manual de instruções.

A obra-máquina de obras criada por Luca Parise e vista pela primeira vez em público agora, neste projeto solo na SP-Arte, surgiu em uma das últimas etapas de soluções plásticas para resolver uma série de problemas, em sua maioria inventados. Uma sucessão de “dobras”, como define o artista, referindo-se aos gestos que sobrepõem e subvertem significados, fáceis no início, quase impossíveis depois de sucessivas dobras.”

	FUNCIONAMENTO
	A máquina de desenho-moscário é uma estrutura composta por duas partes, uma máquina de desenho e um moscário.
A máquina de desenho

A máquina de desenho é uma mapoteca, onde as gavetas são intercomunicáveis, de forma que o primeiro nível (topo) contém uma série de plantas, um sistema de irrigação, ventilação e iluminação.
Logo abaixo, a primeira gaveta, é onde se depositada a materia orgância e a água cai vindo do topo.
Na segunda gaveta fica o gotejador, proveninente da primeira gaveta. A terceira, contém material ferroso.Esses quatro primeiros níveis (topo e 3 gavetas) é onde são colocados as chapas de cobre, desenhos, fotos, negativos, etc. que ficam lá de poucos dias até alguns meses, sofrendo ação da máquina e seus habitantes.
As quarta gaveta é “fungicida”, onde os desenhos ficam antes de serem retirados da máquina. Por fim, a última gaveta é onde guardamos os papéis e materiais ainda não utilizados.
Moscário

O moscário se tornou necessário dado a grande quantidade de moscas que foram atraídas pela máquina, sendo necessário criar um proteção para mante-las isoladas do restante da casa-atelier.

Como o próprio nome já diz, a Sauna Museu é um objeto-espaço composto por uma sauna úmida e um museu, ambos completamente funcinais.


	SOBRE
	

Sauna-Museué um trabalho que segue uma mesma tipologia de trabalhos da Cozinha Lagosta e Máquina de desenho, é um trabalho para ser usado.Como o próprio nome já diz, tem uma função dupla: o seu interiror é uma sauna úmida, que comporta até duas pessoas e o seu exterior é um espaço expositivo.Durante 3 anos ela operou na Casa-Atelier onde além de servir como sauna (que era usada regularmente), foi o ponto de partida para dois projetos, o projeto barganha e o rappi internacional, além de der recebido uma exposição com curadoria da Anna Israel.

	BARGANHA
	Barganha foi um projeto (veja mais na página do projeto) que começou na platafroma da Sauna Museu CAC com a proposta de trocar pequenas escultuas pelos mais diversos objetos.O projeto culminou em uma exposição na galeria Zielinsky, em Barcelona e um trabalho em parceria com Álex Muñoz

	RAPPI INT.
	Rappi internacional foi um projeto onde se comprou múltiplos ou catálogos assinados de artistas como Joseph Beuys, Paul Mccarthy, Jason Rhoades e Gehard Richter.O intuito era trazer esses trabalhos para o Brasil e revendê-los, de forma que a venda de um trabalho proporcionasse a compra de outro para o acervo da Sauna Museu CAC, deste modo criando um sistema autosuficiente para formação de acervo.&#38;gt; Veja projeto rappi internacional

	O espaço expositivo do museu contou com a exposição Prolegômenos Bio-Estéticos da incompletude, curada por Anna Israel na temporada de 1/2019

Barganha foi um projeto que surgiu dentor da SMC, com o objetivo de investigar a venda e circulação de trabalhos anunciados como arte.
Todas as segundas feiras era publicada no perfil do instagram Sauna Museu CAC esculturas com a proposta de serem trocadas - barganhadas - pelo objeto de maior valor oferecido.
O projeto deve dois desdobramentos principais:
- O primeiro ciclo de trocas, ocorrido toda segunda feira no ano de 2019 pelo instagram, rendendo comentários até do artista norte americano, Tom Sachs

- O segundo foi na exposição na galeria Zielinsky, em Barcelona, e com trabalhos em parceria com Álex Muñoz

	A exposição BARGANHA “Trueque” foi fruto de uma residência no G6, espaço que integra o Conglomerado Atelier do Centro e é gerido pelo arquiteto e colecionador catalão Álex Muñoz.
Todos os trabalhos produzidos não podiam ser comprados, mas apenas trocados durante a exposição.&#38;nbsp;
Para divulgação da expedição, foi montando a 
Asesoría Guerrillera, composta por Álex Muñoz, Lorena Fernández, Laura Gorina e Edu Fusté, além de Luca Parise, que participava remotamente, onde dentro das ações propostas foram desenvolvidos uma série de panfletos a serem distribuídos no centro de Barcelona
O texto curatorial foi assinado pela curadora&#38;nbsp;Gisela Chiida 

A exposição contou com uma série de 12 esculturas a serem barganhadas e um video - cash converter - produzido em parceia com Álex Muñoz

Rappi internacional foi um projeto onde se comprava múltiplos ou catálogos assinados de artistas como Joseph Beuys, Paul Mccarthy, Jason Rhoades e Gehard Richter.O intuito era trazer esses trabalhos para o Brasil e vendê-los, de forma que a venda de um trabalho, proporcionasse a compra de outro para o acervo da Sauna Museu CAC, deste modo criando um sistema autosuficiente para a formação de acervo.

Casa Atelier, como o próprio nome já diz, foi o lugar que me atendeu tanto como Casa, quanto como Atelier.
Localizado em cima (literalmente) do Congolmerado Atelier do Centro, foi meu local de atelier e residência até final de 2021.
O espaço era uma sobreloja de 140 m2, em que originalmente, foi traçada uma linha, distinguindo entre “casa” e “atelier”.
Com o passar do tempo e evolução do trabalho plástico, que foi ganhando tanto escala como complexidade, encontrei nos materiais da “casa” a materia prima para produzir trabalhos, como foi o caso da minha cozinha (que já fora uma cozinha convecional) para se transformar na Cozinha Lagosta, ou a mapoteca, onde guardava meus trabalhos, para se transformar ela mesmo em trabalho, na Máquina de Desenho Moscário.
A Sauna Museu CAC, Biblioteca paulística e a Biblioteca LIP também surgiram dentro deste contexto.
